HOW TO BE U.G.L.Y. interactive stop bullying program w/Sporty King. Sporty gives your elementary and middle-school students the tools they need to not be hurt by negative words and actions of others. He also helps them curb their own bullying behaviors. He tells his story of growing up with low self-esteem in Harlem, NY. He shares how he turned that negative into a positive in our "How to be U.G.L.Y." anti-bullying presentation. After Sporty inspires your students at the assembly, he'll come back that evening to present to parents and teachers. As you know, parents can have a big impact in the stop bullying movement.

LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH - ANTI-DRUG AND STOP SELF BULLYING interactive program with Recording Artist, Dan Evans, featuring his hit song, LETTER TO MY ADDICTION. Dan Evans inspires youth, AND adults with his life story, advice and music.

Dan overcame his addiction to food on national TV as a contestant on THE BIGGEST LOSER. But food isn't the only thing students struggle with. Dan helps your students understand the importance of loving and respecting themselves in order to break free from self-defeating behaviors like smoking, drinking and drugs. He also makes it clear that behaviors like drama, victimhood, anger and most importantly self-bullying all stem from a lack of self-worth. After his inspiring presentation, Dan performs a mini-concert of songs from GOIN' ALL OUT, his chart topping CD featuring LETTER TO MY ADDICTION. Prior to the Dan's presentation we'll supply you with the lyrics to LETTER TO MY ADDICTION so your students can sing along. This song is an anthem about freeing yourself from unhealthy habits.

AFTER OUR ASSEMBLY PRESENTATIONS
YOUR STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO:

Understand the reasons people bully

Recognize who the bully targets and why

Help avoid and protect themselves and others from bullies

Take responsibility for their own bullying tendencies and learn how to 'choose to change' their behavior

Know what to do when bullying happens to them and how to help others that are being bullied.

Recognize and choose to change unhealthful Self-bullying habits like drugs, alcohol, and more.

RESULTS

Before a presentation we pre-survey the students. Three to six weeks after our presentation we conduct a post survey, Following are results:

After a presentation to middle- and Jr.-high school students:
93% now recognize when they are having negative judgments against themselves and others.
83% state they learned how to cancel out negative judgments and replace them with positive thoughts.
58% indicated that no one has bullied them since our presentation.

After a presentation to High School and Jr. high school students:
87% indicated that no one has bullied them since our presentation.
86% reported not bullying anyone
77% now recognize when they are having negative judgments against themselves and others
69% state they learned how to cancel out negative judgments and replace them with positive thoughts.
