Following are results from one of Sporty's presentations at an Elementary school:

$800* will underwrite a bullying prevention presentation at ONE school

$700 (per school) will underwrite Presentations at TWO neighboring schools

$600 (per school) will underwrite Presentations at THREE neighboring schools

A surcharge of $350 will be added to schools and organizations
more than two hours drive from Chicago, IL.
Airfare, lodging, rental car/fuel and per diem meal expense will be an additional charge
Sporty travels coach and can lodge at a local hotel.

ABOUT SPORTY

Sporty King is the co-founder of Hey U.G.L.Y., Inc. He grew up in Harlem, NYC, where he learned to overcome low self-esteem by recognizing that he is U.G.L.Y. - Unique Gifted Lovable You. He has inspired over 500,000 students with his U.G.L.Y. story and says one of the best ways to be successful in life is to have healthy self-esteem, a positive attitude, positive vocabulary and intolerance for bullying. As he tells the story of his life, he reminds his audience to create the story of their life by believing in themselves and having a positive attitude and vocabulary. He gives practical and empathetic advice on ways to avoid bullying not only of others but of self.

A Chicago Public Schools registered vendor and ISBE Certified Provider for CEU/CPDU credits, Sporty is consistently on the program at the Chicago Archdiocese of Chicago's Young Adult Ministry seminar. He was public speaking instructor at Harold Washington College and Prologue Alternative High School; Past Board member and (now) volunteer at the Dr. M.L.K., Jr. Boys & Girls Club. All places where he enjoys a hands-on influence in the lives of young people.
Sporty's belief is that we touch children's lives by re-educating and refreshing adults. Thus his message is well received with parents and auxiliary organizations as well as youth.

An expert on personal success and turning any negative into a positive, Sporty is the author of : "I Found Out I'm Dying: A Celebration of Life", "Do You Have Any Idea How Fine You Are?" "StartingToday." He is one of 23 contributors to Student Success Stories.

Among King's media appearances are the Chicago Tribune; ABC/TV's "Someone You Should Know" news segment with Harry Porterfield; and weekly on WGN/TV's nationally syndicated Minority Business Report, delivering inspirational messages about life. He is a member of the National Speakers Association, Toastmasters International, Trinity United Church of Christ, and in 1996 finished as one of the Top 9 speakers in the world at the Toastmasters International World Championship of Public Speaking.
