1)  HOW TO BE U.G.L.Y. interactive program w/Sporty King.  It's kinda weird when teachers like a speaker as much as students do but that's what happens whenever Hey U.G.L.Y.'s co-founder, Sporty King, does this our stop bullying presentation. You'll listen, laugh and learn tons about how to have the courage to become a part of the solution to bullying. Sporty will give you the tools you need to not be hurt by negative words and actions of others. He'll also help you curb your own bullying behaviors. Fess up, sometimes we're bullies too.

Sporty grew up with low self-esteem in Harlem, NY.  He shares how he turned that negative into a positive with his "How to be U G L Y" anti-bullying presentation. We've been listening to your requests for us to clue in the adults about how they can help stop bullying too. So guess what - after Sporty speaks to you at the assembly he'll come back in the evening to talk to your teachers and parents. They'll learn what you learned plus we'll tell them what you've been saying about how they can have a big impact in the stop bullying movement.

2) STOP SELF BULLYING & LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH interactive program.  Recording Artist and speaker, Dan Evans inspires students with his story, advice and music in Hey U.G.L.Y's
 POWERFUL Presentation.

After Dan's speech he'll perform a mini-concert of songs from his chart topping CD-
GOIN' ALL OUT.
Dan knows what it's like to not feel good about yourself. He's learned how to overcome that and shares that with you in
 assembly presentations.

After our presentations you will be able to:

o  Understand the reasons people bully

o   Recognize who the bully targets and why

o   Help avoid and protect yourself and others from bullies

o   Take responsibility for your own bullying tendencies and learn how to 'choose to change' your behavior

o    Know what to do when bullying happens to you and how to help others that are being bullied.

Start a Stop Bullying Task Force
at your school?
It's easy and important!!!

After you complete our Stop Bullying Handbook you will become an official Hey U.G.L.Y. Stop Bullying Task Force Member. You'll receive a special card, certificate, U.G.L.Y. T-shirt and more.

As a task force member you'll be authorized to teach what you've learned to younger students in your area. And, if you like, you'll be certified to lead a stop bullying assembly presentation at your school. We'll even supply you with the presentation if you don't want to create one of your own. We've had task force members use our assembly presentation and it rocks! We'll also give you tools to help you invite local dignitaries - like the mayor - and the media out to see what you've done to help your classmates end bullying.
