Hey U G L Y Inc., developed in 2001, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
that depends on donations, product sales and sponsorships to help
us with our mission of helping teens counter challenges such as
bullying, eating disorders, violence, substance abuse and suicide.

During the 2008 presidential
election when race made headlines, students aged 9 to 19
participated in
Hey U G L Y's "ending racism" art program called
the Hue-Man being Art Project(tm).
The students were instructed to write their thoughts about racism
on their art work. Their feelings create an eloquent thesis ...
an argument for why it is wrong to negatively judge people
because of the color of their skin. Art experts selected the 50
most representative works of art for this book. The book is
accompanied by a Documentary by award-winning filmmaker, Rick
Erwin. We know you will
be inspired by the art and sentiments expressed by the teens and
